Brief History:
On Saturday December 3, 2016 the 8th Annual Fourth Ward Historic Holiday Home Tours took place.  Back in the mid 1830’s Charlotte, NC was divided into 4 political wards.  The Fourth Ward was an area that was home to some of the wealthiest people during its time.  The dynamic of the area changed in the early 1900’s once the trolley system mobilized people and gave people more choices on areas to live.  The Fourth Ward seen a rapid decline as people of influence opted to live in more suburban areas.  The area was later revitalized by the Junior League of Charlotte.  The area today is home to Victorian designed homes, luxury condominiums, parks, social gathering places, and businesses just to name a few all in close proximity to Uptown Charlotte, NC.
